What is the BuckYou HY.PE?
The BuckYou HY.PE is the latest and greatest incarnation of the BuckYou bareback pad. It is the Hybrid Pad experience, not quite a treeless saddle, but more than even a very nice bareback pad.
The BuckYou HY.PE has a structure which offers support to the rider but does not interfere with the movement of your horses back or shoulders, enabling them to be comfortable and enjoy free movement in all paces.
The floating pommel and cantle ensure you are supported and secure in cases of spooks or trips, but don’t transfer pressure from your seat onto you horses withers or ribs.
The latest update is the addition of an adjustable shim system. The pads have spinal clearance which can be made wider or narrower or even entirely removed to perfectly suit your horses needs. The shims create spinal clearance, additional pressure reduction and give the pads even great stability- meaning they don’t need to be girthed as tightly as ‘normal’ saddles, ensuring yet more horse-comfort!
Many of our customers have horses who have previously been exposed to ‘that’ kind of mentality- our founder horse Cato was once one of those horses, so we really, really love it when we hear that a horse who was once fearful of saddles and all they represented is now happy and now able to enjoy riding with a kind and understanding human using our gear and force-free methods.
